Dr. Vaidehi Misra
Dr. Vaidehi Misra is a general dentist who joined the Port Elgin Family Dentistry team in 2026. She completed her dental training at the University of Melbourne, gaining experience in hospital settings and close-knit rural communities across Australia.
Dr. Misra believes in patient-centred care tailored to each person’s unique needs and story. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools to take control of their oral health. Dentistry is a team effort. Patients do their part at home, and she will take care of the rest in the clinic, working together towards a lifetime of confident smiles, comfortable eating, and improved quality of life.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Misra enjoys running, baking, and painting. She’s always on the lookout for new baking tips and recipes to try!
Dr. Sherief
Dr. Sherief is a general dentist with a special interest in oral surgery. He earned his dental degree from the Modern Sciences and Arts University in Egypt in 2010 and has over 16 years of international and Canadian clinical experience. He has been practicing in Ontario since 2022.
Dr. Sherief provides comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, with a focus on preventative dentistry, patient education, and modern treatment techniques.
He offers a wide range of services, including exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, dental implants, Invisalign, and root canal treatments. He is also certified in sedation dentistry, offering nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) and oral conscious sedation to help ensure a comfortable experience—especially for anxious patients.
Known for his gentle approach and clear communication, Dr. Sherief is dedicated to helping patients feel at ease while delivering high-quality, personalized care.
Dr. Omar
Dr. Omar is a general dentist who has a particular interest in endodontics and enjoys helping patients preserve their natural teeth through root canal therapy and other restorative treatments. He is committed to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate care and a commitment to clinical excellence.
Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Omar graduated with High Honors in Dentistry from Misr International University in 2012. He completed the NDEB equivalency process in Canada in 2025 and is proud to serve patients with his international training and experience.
Dr. Omar is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and respected. He believes in a patient-centered approach, taking the time to understand each individual’s needs and goals to create personalized treatment plans.
